LICENSING POLICY

All of the Acronis^® and GroupLogic^® software products ("Software") are licensed to end-users by Acronis International GmbH ("Acronis").

The standard licensing policy is based on the number of machines, either physical or virtual environments, which our Software is installed on. A "Machine" means a single operating environment. For instance, a Windows or Linux operating system is considered a single "machine," even if multiple operating systems are installed on a single computer.

Standard License. A single license is required for installation on a single machine; such license is non-transferable and non-assignable, except in limited circumstances. The limited circumstances include where the original machine the Software license was deployed on: (i) becomes non-functioning or obsolete; and (ii) is taken out of service. In such cases, the license is transferable to a replacement machine.

Family Pack License. A single license is required for installation on up to three (3) machines within the same household.

ACRONIS SOFTWARE

1. Acronis Backup & Recovery^® 11 & 11.5 Advanced Server. This product may be used to backup 1 physical host server and up to 4 virtual machines that are residing on the same host server.
2. Acronis Backup & Recovery^® 11 & 11.5 Advanced Server – Virtual edition. This product may be used to backup 1 physical host server and up to an unlimited number of virtual machines (limitations are based on your system configuration) that are residing on the same host server.
3. Acronis^® vmProtect^™. This product is licensed on a per "CPU" basis.
4. Acronis Snap Deploy^® Machine License and Acronis Universal Deploy^®. A license is required for each Machine. Acronis Snap Deploy Deployment Licenses are required for each deployment to target computers. Deployment Licenses may not be reused once they have been deployed.
5. Acronis subscription based product licensing. Acronis provides subscription based product licensing for the terms specified next to the following products:
   • Acronis^® Backup & Security^™ 2011. The license is valid for 1 year and for 3 physical computers.
   • Acronis^® Backup & Security^™ 2010. The license is valid for 1 year and for 3 physical computers.
   • Acronis^® Internet Security Suite 2010. The license is valid for 1 year and for 3 physical computers.
   • Acronis^® AntiVirus 2010. The license is valid for 1 year and for 3 physical computers.
   • Acronis^® True ImageTM Online. The license is based on the purchased subscription term for the specified number of machines (physical or virtual).
   • Acronis Backup & Recovery^® Online. The license is based on the purchased subscription term for the specified number of machines (physical or virtual).

GROUPLOGIC SOFTWARE LICENSING POLICY

All of the GroupLogic^® software products are licensed to end-users by Acronis International GmbH ("Acronis").

1. activEcho^®
   • Perpetual License. activeEcho may be installed on one (1) physical host server and up to three (3) devices per "User," defined as an individual with a credential to access the activEcho server.
   • Subscription License. For the purchased subscription period, activeEcho may be installed on the purchased number of physical host servers (defined as an "Enterprise" on the order form), and up to three (3) devices per User. For subscription licenses, additional ad-hoc Users are provided for external use (five (5) additional Users for subscriptions of 100 Users or fewer, or twenty-five (25) additional Users for subscriptions of more than 100 Users.
2. mobilEcho^®
   • Perpetual License. mobileEcho may be installed on one (1) physical Windows^® or Linux based host server and support up to three (3) named mobile devices per user. "Reshare" functionality permits a user to map shares from other volumes on remote servers to the mobilEcho server share, extending appliance-like functionality (available on licenses of 50 or more users).
   • Subscription License. For the purchased subscription period, mobilEcho may be installed on an unlimited number of physical host servers within the licensee’s enterprise (defined as an "Enterprise" on the order form), and up to three (3) named mobile devices per user. Reshare functionality is included in a subscription license.
3. ExtremeZ-IP^®
   • Perpetual License. ExtremeZ-IP may be installed on one (1) physical Windows^® based host server with a specified number of named "Clients," defined as Mac^® based computers.
   • Subscription License. For the purchased subscription period, ExtremeZ-IP may be installed on an unlimited number of physical Windows® based host servers within the licensee’s enterprise (defined as an "Enterprise" on the order form), and a specified number of named Clients. "Reshare" functionality permits the user to map shares from other volumes on remote servers to the ExtremeZ-IP server share, extending appliance-like functionality.
4. ArchiveConnectTM
   • Perpetual License. ArchiveConnect is designed for Mac^® computers and is sold on a per-client basis.
5. MassTransit^®
   • Perpetual License. MassTransit may be installed on one (1) physical Windows server with a specified number of "Clients," defined either as an end user or another MassTransit server which participates in file based workflows.

KEYS / PIRACY

Acronis issues license keys for each license purchased. The end-user is authorized to use each license key to activate and use the Software within the parameters of this Licensing Policy. The use, distribution, or sale of Acronis license keys for any purpose other than as specifically permitted by this Policy and in the End User License Agreement is strictly prohibited. Acronis takes all instances of unauthorized use of its Software seriously, and such unauthorized use may result in civil or criminal action to enforce the terms of the EULA and this Policy, and the imposition of civil or criminal fines or penalties. Subscription licensed Software may contain serial keys that are time-stamped and will deactivate upon expiration of the paid subscription term.
